Hosted by SETA Brussels, the training brought together participants from T\u00fcrkiye, Norway, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, representing civil society organizations and partner institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>     The programme focused on&nbsp;<em>New Generation Security Threats in the New Information Era<\/em>, with a particular emphasis on disinformation, its psychological impacts, media literacy, and social engineering threats. Practical workshops allowed participants to apply source verification techniques, analyse real-life cases, and engage in scenario-based risk analysis activities. The open discussion sessions (\u201cOpen Mic\u201d) encouraged participants to share their insights and reflect on how these lessons could be adapted to their own professional contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/civilsocietysecurity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/IMG_9510.heic\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-334\" style=\"width:783px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This LTT not only strengthened participants\u2019 technical knowledge of data and information security but also enhanced their ability to identify and respond to manipulative information in their local environments.
